Apparently this ETA expired status is a recent issue with orders. It has been popping up lately on missing orders.

A typical status would show the following:

Passing (Csx Transportation ) Connellsv, PA Feb-12-2014, 22:00 ET

Feb-16-2014 Feb-20-2014

In this case the truck is on (a CSX train) that is just passing by Connellsville, PA at 10pm Eastern. The estimated delivery date is between 2/16-2/20. Every day you would see a new city as it makes it's way to your dealer. Then eventually you will get a narrower delivery window, and finally a status of "delivered".

My order has not updated since produced on 2-14. Delivery has been said to me 2-23 to 3-3. Then with no update 2-21 to 3-1. Svt guy says that's weird. From all these stories I'm getting nervous. Dealer said shipped but no train number. Said that's weird too Grrrrrrr

Sorry - perhaps I used the wrong word. I meant orders that aren't quickly identified in the system. Like in your situation, since they gave you a case number. I don't work for Ford - I am just trying to help through connections.

My dealer told me my truck was shipped in February 2012, then in early March they told me it hadn't shipped (wtf?, right). Sure enough it was on the Ramp at Ford's Dearborn plant waiting to be shipped. I got it the first week in April.

I do not know why communications/inventory tracking gets out of sync.

I'm in the same boat guys. My truck was built 2/6 and has sat in melvindale since the 8th. I know where it's at but it hasn't moved so who knows. I think the biggest issue is the ETA that SVT gives out. My ETA was 2/14-2/20 and that has come and gone. I know it will eventually show up and I will be happy but as for now I am going crazy.

In my own, very personal opinion, make sure you are not talking to your salesman about your order if things aren't going well. Get the sales manager and demand (nicely) they find out where your truck is located. Get the DORA (Dealer, Order, Receipt, Acknowledgement) number from them.

They have the ability to look at your order details - whether they choose to admit it or not. They can see all of the steps as it's moving through the process, including transportation.

In Q1 of 2013 there was a "shipping hold" on ALL Raptor shipments due to a fuel line issue. All non-affected Raptors were eventually released, the others were fixed. I have no idea, but maybe there is something similar going on. Or, there's just another delay not related to anything in particular.

Another truckload of Raptors was delayed because the transport truck broke down. There's a lot of moving parts to get your truck from Ford to your dealer.

When I bought my truck I had the option of an immediate delivery with a crappy dealer, or a six week wait with a great dealer. I went for great dealer.
