Keypad LEDs

I hate the green on the keypad LEDs. Nothing else on the truck is green and I think it looks dumb. Has anyone swapped out these for a different color or taken a look at the keypad to see if it's possible? I'd like to swap it out with white, amber, or blue.

Wiz has switched just about every light on his interior. Either he has done it or could offer some tips

I too hate the green. A different color would be nice. A clean white color

I checked this out a couple years ago. I believe its Bulbs soldered to a board. So u have to take them off and solder in LEDs and possibly resistors. I'll see if I can find the info again. I know I googled it

If they're LEDs, you shouldn't need load resistors, right?

If u get the right wattage LEDs then u would not need resistors. I also would love white keypad buttons

I've read that there part of the board. i would love to have blue to match my blue puddle lights.

Yes they are part of the board but u can heat the solder joints and remove them then solder in new LEDs

yes and i'am now thinking about getting a new board and swapping out the leds.

Do it then give us a write up or become a vendor called "raptor door handle retrofit" and make us some lol
