Keypad Code Question

I really want to use my keypad, but i don't know where to find the code given to my car from the factory... and when i find it, how do i set it up?

Yep! It's in the owners manual on a credit card sized white card with blue writing.

Glad you posted this Bubba because I never took the time to figure this out. I'm always stashing my key somewhere under the truck at the beach but it's a matter of time before someone watches me and presto.. wallet and valuables gone.

I also programmed a custom code that I'll actually remember! Even if you program a custom code, the original code on the card will ALWAYS work, so keep it somewhere safe!

I like that you can lock the truck (pressing 7/8 and 9/0 simultaneously) even when it's running! Sometimes I forget something in the house and want to keep the truck running, warming up... get out, lock with the keypad even while running!

Dude, you've never used the keyless entry ? Gotta be one of the best features Ford has.

I agree...

And when getting work done at a shop, if picking up after they close they can lock the keys inside it hidden somewhere, and then just use the keypad to open the door.

ohhh the keyless entry has saved my ass. i like to leave my keys on my floor and have locked them in there a number of times. woulda been screwed otherwise.
