Just bought a new late delivery of a new dealer ordered 2021. I had a 2022 ordered but upon conversations with the manager it was told to me that Ford will not guarantee any 2022 orders in the system. He mentioned ford only produced 25,000 vehicles total for the month of Feb. I had ordered mine originally on Nov 16 and heard nothing thru Feb. Dealer had allocations but Ford was not building them. Grabbed the 2021, sticker price was less than the 2022 and had all the options except the moonroof (which I didn’t want). Plus the 2022 you cannot get the tailgate step/power tailgate unless you have the moonroof package. Still paid above sticker but they are not being produced.

01/17 order for a 37” 801a

No VIN for me either

Hopeful to have a VIN by May. Maybe delivery by end of year at this point ha.

No vin for me either. Toyota really effed up the Tundra Pro with no recovery/tow hooks and 1” less ground clearance (9.5”) from the prior pros due to the fugly front grill design. with a 68k base price it’s not very appealing anymore. I have a deposit on the pro as well but I’m pretty sure I’m gonna pass and just stick with the Raptor order

I did the same thing and no Raptor VIN yet. I was expecting the TRD Pro to be priced around $60k, not $68,500 with destination fee. For that price I will stick to my Raptor order and cancel my TRD Pro deposit.

I’m curious if all unscheduled/clean pending orders in the system are cherry picked for parts availability before scheduling.

That's my fallback too, late May is my birthday and I'll be at a precision rifle course with the boys. Getting a VIN then would be a cherry on top. The things we dream about as 'grown-ups' lol

Yes. Had a VIN a month later, a build week a month after that, and a build day (April 2) as of 2 weeks ago.

01-6-22 order still no vin. Oxford White 800A, torsion package, convenience, spray in bed liner and auto start stop delete. I heard spray in bedliner could delay order. Anybody know if thats true. If so I will get rid of it.

Bed liners are being delayed as they have to send the truck to another facility. I'm hearing up to 10 weeks delay for bed liner. Better to get it without and just have it done locally at Line-X.

Thanks for the heads up,I will call my dealer and lose the bedliner !
