GEN 2 Help needed! Both key locked inside the car

Wait. How is that even possible? I’ve left my key in the car before and used the finger button on the outside to lock it and it wouldn’t.

I think the idea of the numberpad is to be able to lock your vehicle with the key inside.

Say you're going diving or fishing and don't want to risk loosing your key.
