GMC Truck does 199.0 MPH in Texas Mile

Went to the "Texas Mile" today. They allow stock and modified cars and motorcycles to run 1 mile, wide open, on a closed runway near Goliad, Texas. Here's a link if your interested.

Anyway - I watched a gmc sierra, single cab pick up truck, run 199.0 mph in the mile. Unbelievable.

As awesome as that is, you can bet they were pissed they didn't break 200.

Yep. They don't have a 199 mph club!!! But you would be at the head of the class in the 150 mph club.
