Being a former Gen1 owner, don't let the Gen1 crew see this thread up talking the Gen2. They will get triggered.
All kidding aside, Performance wise the Gen1 doesn't even come close. Better suspension, power/performance, beefier frame, lighter body all makes for a better "pre-runner".
My biggest concern is longevity with the V6 on medium/high boost. I can honestly say if the rumors are true about a 5.0 coyote motor finding it's way into a Gen2 I'm in!!!
Just waiting for good aftermarket 2.5" - 3" fenders. Haven't had much luck searching even though I saw a sweet ass Gen2 running 37's and aftermarket fenders, bumpers and tire carrier in Escondido, CA.
