Fault light

I keep getting a fault indicator on the dash and then it goes away and comes back again and again. It is such a hassle to take the truck in to the dealer. Anyone else ever experience something like that?

What codes are you getting? Let me know and then we can diagnose the fault

I'll stop by auto zone and get the codes. And the oil level is good, I checked. Thanks for the advice!!

An inexpensive OBDII scanner is available on Amazon for $20-30 or at any auto parts store. It is a must-have tool.

What does the battery have to do with that code? Did you bother to look it up?

It's a Crankcase ventilation system error.

To be fair, the hood latch is a little tricky.
