...I wouldn’t have gone with one of the other tuners anyways, if Cobb hadn’t released a tune I’d still be stock. That’s just me though. Not trying to say I’m right or that everybody who used a different tuner is wrong, just for my investment in the truck and my preferences and comfort, I trust Cobb enough to go with them...
This is exactly my mindset. I had zero intention of tuning my Raptor until I saw COBB was getting involved. There’s a quote that says something about buying the company first, then buying their products. I had bought into COBB and how they run their business years ago. COBB doesn’t rush their product so they can be first to market. When you get something from them, you know it’s been tested to a high standard. There were posts just a few days ago saying how much better Whipple is than COBB, then today I see posts on the FB Raptor page with people saying they can’t get any support from Whipple and can’t even get their trucks tuned back to stock. I’m not concerned about COBB’s support disappearing in a few months.
Everyone has the right to spend their money on their truck however they want. But for my money it’s an easy decision.
