Broken Henessey K&N 6.2L intake

1. Tube has a few scuffs.
2. Rubber mounting is worn and needs to be replaced or patched.
3. MOUNT IS BROKEN! You will need to fab up a air filter to air box metal piece. They give you a crappy one in the kit that snaps offroad. I made an aluminum one that held up for a while, just a strap of metal.
4. Comes with TWO K&N air filters, both have mesh damage, not sure if the filter was breached. You can get a new one for like $100 or less probably, I have the K&N number: K&N RC5178. RC-5178 - K&N Replacement Filters, Universal Air Filter direct from K&N

Since its beat to crap and needs a new filter, I will let it go for $150.

Intake sounds bad ass, but doesnt hold up well offroad.

If you call them, they'll send a new bracket. I wasn't even teh original owner, they just mailed it out. new one seems sturdier.

Ive been through 2 brackets, been there. They both sucked. I offroad hard. Fabricated 3 other brackets myself. All broke. ZIp tied it, broke, I hate the thing. Dont get me wrong, it sounds bad ass, but I like a closed box CAI that pulls cool air from the wheel wells and front. This intake has a TON of power when its cold under the hood. Love coasting up to a stop sign in the morning and doing a huge burnout. sounds bad ass.

Mike also sent me a new K&N cause the bracket broke the first time, thast why I have 2 K&N filters (damaged).

I have the same issue. I just made my own bracket. Damn air filter damage is BS but whatever.

Get a Volant. Henessey has a bad ass rip noise to it, but Volant is more stable.
