Anyone tried bov block off plate for the flutter sound? and do they throw CEL codes ?

Nah man. You can unhook the recirculating hose and vent to atmosphere. Makes your turbo truck sound more turbo. The only reason it is vented back in is to keep it quiet.

No I have that. How I read it was as a BOV blockoff plate. As in removing the bov entirely. Which would cause turbo surge and damage I assume.

If he just meant a VTA then ya no problem

@xrocket21 You can place a block off plate, which is the same as removing it entirely... it is possible. My question is whether someone tried it.
