Has anyone installed Baja's LP9 lights on their Gen 2 Raptor? If so, what bumper arrangement (brand and model) did you use to support the lights? Or, did you utilize a simple mounting bar?

I called Baja customer service to see if they knew how customers installed their LP9s on Raptors, and they told me that "many companies make bumpers". This was no help at all, so I wanted to reach out to this community to get your thoughts on the LP9s, and how you have installed them.

The LP9s put out a crazy amount of light, but are priced as if they are made of gold. Looking like it will be $2,800 for 4 of them. Just nuts.

Thoughts and feedback appreciated.

Thanks.

Go to page two in this lighting forum. Look for baja design lp9 pre order thread. Go to page two. There are a few trucks that have these mounted. One has a custom front. The other has the factory bumper with a mount that is similar to a n fab mounting bar. The smurfworks guy makes custom stuff for the raptor, the bar might be his design. Send him a message, I have in the past, nice guy.

There's a Foutz Light Bar that will work with the LP9s and will fit the stock bumper. You can also look at the N-Fab Light Bar mount with LP9s.

We carry both, so please let me know if you'd like more info or if we can help put a package together for you.

Most folks running the LP9s have an aftermarket bumper. That's the best way. Like Nick, we sell the N-FAB mounts but we've found most folks running the LP9s ARE in fact running aftermarket bumpers. We have plenty in our warehouse and we're looking for easy ways to mount them, but it's a big light, so you really need a nice sturdy surface to mount to. I'm testing out some universal roll bar mounts now BUT as I said, she's hefty...

Running mixed set of Baja Designs LP6 and LP9’s on an N-Fab bumper from 4x4truckleds.

Quite a wiring exercise to connect new relays to AUXs. Install instructions in box didn’t help, had to email BD for detailed assistance that was still a bit complicated for me. ultimately cut and threw away most of the harness and excessive wire/switch/relay provided in harness.
It would have been nice if either Baja Designs or Ford included detailed wiring diagrams for installation to upfitter switching.
I made decals with glow in the dark decals for AUX switches

Used carriage bolts, security bolts, security 5star torx hardware to install these pricey lights, instead of the supplied hex bolts that say “steal me now”

Installed both low and high switch controls for the LP’s using new relays and a box to keep things tidy from online led store.

on rural roads and woods they're a lifesaver with incredible range

Could you take a pic of the bolts you used? Thank you!
