After running a single 13.5 for about two weeks now I can tell you I would have preferred to do two 12’s.

The two twelves behind the seat definitely would be the way I’d go in hindsight. Putting the amps under back seat in the storage area. still having most of the under seat area available. I do miss having that area.

Hell, one 12tw3 will spank one 13tw5. 2db at 110 db is a HUGE difference in output. More XMAX and a lower Fs make the 12tw3 the superior sub.

Both subs were modeled in .8 cu ft with 600 watts at 4 ohm.Screen Shot 2019-03-01 at 5.29.24 PM.png

For whatever reason, people always assume that because a speaker is more expensive, it is better. The tw5 is more expensive simply because it is designed in a shallower package for extra shallow applications. We have plenty of depth for the tw3 in our trucks.

I think that was just with a certain enclosure due to the way the latch worked on one side, but not sure.

Here is the info I was given by MTI:

Good news!!!! The enclosures are ready to begin production!
$280 shipped in lower 48 for single sub
$380 shipped in lower 48 for dual sub (10" subs work best due to limited volume)
$320 shipped in lower 48 with amp extension as part of single sub

Single sub will always have the subwoofer on the passenger side.

Dual sub will not have provision for an amp mount. If Sony or B&0 equipped, you must relocate the stock amp.

Single sub with amp provision will require relocation of Sony or B&0 stock amp.

We will only be offering these in a Stage 1, black carpet wrapped model. The amp rack will be MDF wrapped in carpet as well.

***Shallow drivers are a must in this application***

Can you please link pics and the purchase page for these options?
