22 vs 21

What is the different between model years 22 and 21. Has Ford dropped or changed anything? I have a 22 on order and its a job 2 build. I know in the pass there has been changes between job 1 and job 2 in the F-250.

Ambient lighting/Digital AC knobs and removed couple of colors. Also if you didn't get CF, you will get the ugly trim thats on the 800A. Ford removed the 801A trim due to availability.

The only thing missing on my 22 is the ambient lighting in the cup holders, glove box and center console storage tray. However, there are lots of threads discussing how to buy all the parts and harnesses to add them back in if one so desires to do so.

Usually I’d say always better to go for the later model year as a new design always has kinks to work out, but nowadays between parts constraints & labor shortages you’ll be gambling on quality control regardless
