Sure I would be curious to see the difference. I know it's a simple fix but I would almost be inclined to leave the cutoff high if it improves visibility without blinding other motorists.

...i know, I know.....who gives a shit about other motorists, honestly.

when i had my ranger lifted about 2" in front i asked em about reaiming the headlights and they said with that small an adjustment its not necessary. even after bigger tires later on which raised it another 3/4" i didnt have oncoming motorists flashing me. different vehicles but the same principle

That's not too bad in price. I just want it done right. I do have a buddy that's a beast with trucks, this is my first and I don't want to mess anything up on this bad boy

The perch mod really is super simple

The mod is simple, it just requires an alignment correct? Is it just toe or is there more to the alignment?

I was hoping the 13s would keep the multiple perch adjustments, i could see Ford eliminating the other two spots, sounds like we are safe?

Yup, just gotta remove the coilovers, raise the perch, reinstall and take it in for a toe adjustment.

What do you mean by that statement? The 13s still have the adjustable perch shocks, correct? I was looking at mine today and couldn't see the other snap ring positions. Are they covered by the lower sprint seat components?

I'm taking mine in next week for mid perch.

Ford, like most manufacturers (of various items) will build things, and then determine how they can remove cost. While I doubt it, I was wondering if Ford somehow got Fox to only put 1 ring groove in the shocks.

They are covered by the spring retainer, you would only know by pulling it apart. 11 and 12 had them so I doubt 13 would be any different, just wondering.

My mid perch raised the top of the HID beam about 10 inches at about 25-30 feet (Not an precise measurement.) However I haven't had a single person flash me, or anyone in front of me complain. I am going to adjust it down at some point, probably after the Stage 3 is in.

Where is the headlight adjustment screw at? Do I have to remove anything to get to them?

How bad do you guys think the perch adjustment will raise the factory cutofff and make the HID's even more blinding than years prior?

Got mine done today and ran out tonight to pick up food.....blasted everyone in front of me. Glad to hear the adjustment is easy.

how much would a mid perch adjustment set one back?

I had mine done today with an alignment and it was around $375 total. Make sure you get the alignment if you DIY as it was way out of whack after the adjustment.
