Washed my truck so hard, Rear Camera Guidelines are Gone!

Just like the titles says, my Fixed Guidelines are missing from my camera view. Yes, I went into the settings and tried to turn them off and back on, but the button doesn't respond, and I can't turn them off or on. I also tried resetting the system through that interface but no luck.


Any ideas?

I know you said u tried to reset the interface, but try unplugging the battery

That was the only other option I had. I'll try it tonight and see what happens.

Did you happen to change a tune on your truck? I'm not sure if you have a tuner or not, but I know the guidelines on mine disappear when I change tunes. Albeit the can be rest to display, but just a thought.

Raptors run better dirty. Should have left that snoball salt on there! Hahaha.

check the tailgate camera conector plug for moisture.

take 2 pieces of sewing string and tape them to the touchscreen. Done! (Use to work for me on video games)

Did you use bleach. I know you can turn them off some how.

Nope, no tune. And the camera does work. I actually can't interface with any of the touch controls for the camera, so something is ***** in that module me thinks!

Do you need to update it?

It looks like a lot of folks have already chimed in, but if you're still having an issue with disappearing guidelines, you can always have your dealer take a look.
