So I did a reset off the Menu screen and it did nothing. Maybe there's a more general reset I'm missing. I also did a vehicle health check thing and I'm on the most recent code apparently. Gonna try Jugg's idea next.

yeah, looked everywhere, nothing.

I did do some interwebs searching and there are a ton of posts on a general f150 site about this. Apparently, it's not that uncommon.

I'm going to try and reset the whole same Sync. Keep in mind, it is Microsoft powered. Sounds like it might need a Ctrl+Alt+Del!

Hey, shooterAMG -

You must be some car washer! ;) Do you know which software version you're currently running?

The latest update (3.6.2) sets the rear view camera guidelines to ON by default.

Shoot me a PM and let me know.

Jaclyn

Hey Jaclyn,

According to Ford's website, my Gen1 Sync version of 3.2.2 is the current.

When I click to Update Sync, I get a page that says it's up to date.

That's all you gonna get for My Sync/Voice Nav.
Mine is a 2010 1/2 and the software for mine is Gen1-V3.1

The 3.6.2 is for MFT/Nav, updated from 3.5.1 from 3.0.2

That's OK our stuff works better anyway! LOL

But I love the fixed lines! Not one of my tires has a gouge mark in the side wall. :)
And I've never seen the option to turn on or off the lines, but I never looked for it either.
I might not have that option as mine is 2010 1/2 Gen1-V3.1

Sorry, shooterAMG, I didn't realize you didn't have MyFord Touch.

Do you have SYNC with Voice-Activated Navigation or are you using an aftermarket system?

Just like the titles says, my Fixed Guidelines are missing from my camera view. Yes, I went into the settings and tried to turn them off and back on, but the button doesn't respond, and I can't turn them off or on. I also tried resetting the system through that interface but no luck.

Any ideas?

Todd

Todd, I'm assuming you put it in reverse and touched the "Settings" button on the bottom left of the NAV screen to reset the fixed line. If not give that a try. I know mine turned off before and using the MIL controls wouldn't reset my lines either, but going through the Nav Screen did. I would think it that would be the same on MTF. Good Luck
