Give me a break dude. I never drove the truck offroad stock, so IDK.. other people on this run I was on made it sound a bit normal... it's not

That’s almost as dumb as having a warrantable issue and doing something that voids it. Do you also run tunes and only do an “after” dyno and 0-60 runs?

The interesting thing is here is that had KIDOR approached his issue in a logical manner by seeking assistance from the company that makes the aftermarket components (Eibach) instead of having the dealer try to resolve his modification induced issue, he might actually have made some progress toward identifying and resolving it. Instead, he expected the dealer and Ford to figure out why his aftermarket modifications were inducing the concern, which is ridiculous.

In fact, Eibach is located nearby, in Corona, CA. If had reached out to them, they may have been willing to do some testing on his truck to isolate the root cause and develop a resolution. That would mean be an additional product that they could develop and recommend to customers buying the springs. For all we know it could be as simple as a rack bushing durometer change.

I suppose approaching the situation logically though doesn’t generate as many YouTube clicks as “Lemon Law denied, I’m suing Ford!!”. Sad.

That's the whole thing for me right there. People say he's a nice, good guy but who knows. The only thing he's put out there to know him by are these videos. And in these videos, he does not come across as a stand-up guy or family.

And you are still stuck on Eibachs. I said that numerous times ... with the amount of people running those springs and offroading their trucks (sometimes harder then he did) we would hear a lot of stories of Steering Shaking. On this forum alone how many people have leveled their trucks and offroad them? Its just mathematically impossible that with amount of people running leveled trucks we didn't hear any stories like this before about steering shaking. So in my mind springs alone have nothing to do with his steering shaking. Maybe combined with his 37" tires, wheel offset and other things he did ... but not springs alone. With that being said Eibachs would probably said to him same thing I just wrote.

You're probably right, but Eibach might have been willing to put some time and energy into figuring it out if there was the possibility of selling an aftermarket fix ...

Exactly, and entirely my point. There are plenty of aftermarket companies that will capitalize on selling solutions to issues induced by aftermarket mods, and that's a good thing for everyone any way you look at it. If you're stock you don't need it, if you're modified you have an aftermarket solution. It would be hypocritical if I claimed I was against mods, my '04 Terminator is pullied and tuned with a full aftermarket exhaust (besides manifolds). It currently has a long crank (tune related), but never once would I bring it to a dealer and expect them to diagnose it. And I certainly wouldn't file a lawsuit stating that the OE should figure out my long crank issue, while claiming "all I did was add a tune, this shouldn't happen!!"

That being said...apparently the price of dyno tunes has gone up considerably in the past decade...
