I reached out to Ford Customer Service - They can't help me at this point because the vehicle has not been to the dealership within the past 30 days for the issue. I called the dealership the day they were frozen and I'm still awaiting an opening in the body shop.

Sorry to hear your troubles - sounds like the dealer isn't doing it correctly. I had the issue with my 18 when I first got it and had to have my FIL hold the door shut on thanksgiving morning, I was so embarrassed with my brand new $70k truck. It wasn't even a ford bulletin yet but my dealer knew it was an F150 problem and had their own fix similar to what Ford suggests. They did all 4 doors and I have not had another problem yet even in temps as low as -20.

2017 HAD ISSUE SEVERAL TIMES.THEY DID RECALL.HAS BEN 2 YEARS,SO FAR NO PROBLEM

I love my Raptor or at least I used to. I have had every recall, repair and FSB known to man done on this thing. All I have to show for it is a $72k+ three season shiny truck. I live in upstate NY. It snows and it gets cold. I've never had a problem with my $24k Jeep.

I'm to the point that I would sell it or I'd really like to run it up Ford's ass and force them to buy it back. Has anyone had any success with that approach and where would I start the process?
Have you tried WD-40. I live on LongIsland and with all my vehicles I've sprayed it on all the locking components a couple times each winter.
It Helps, just wipe off the excess/ overspray.
I also wipe all weather stripping with armorall. As you know, sometimes the door itself freezes.
Nothing to loose....

Have you tried WD-40. I live on LongIsland and with all my vehicles I've sprayed it on all the locking components a couple times each winter.
It Helps, just wipe off the excess/ overspray.
I also wipe all weather stripping with armorall. As you know, sometimes the door itself freezes.
Nothing to loose....

I've been hesitant to do that only because if it gets to the point where a customer service rep is flown in, I don't want to be told I caused my own problems. Plus, I don't think its the latch, I thinks its the cable based on the feel of the handle when I pull it. I can tell right away that its frozen. Waiting to see if the 19NO2 recall version 2 helps. If that doesn't work, I think I'll be truck shopping. Couple more days.

On my 2020, I’ve noticed there is a metric f-ton of some sort of lubricant grease on my door handles, latches, everything. You pull the handles out and you can see it there thick and heavy.

I’ve never seen a vehicle off the factory floor with this much grease on it.

My guess would be that is Ford's way of trying to keep all moisture out.

My truck was in twice last year. It has been better but the driver’s door still does it. I’m taking it in for an oil change in march and will ask them about it. Luckily for me Tge passenger side opens fine, so I can force the door with the inside handle. Then to close it, I have to hit the lock button but that seems to at least get my kids to school. It’s pretty annoying.
Today it opened from the outside and inside just fine. Lock button popped up like it should. Door just wouldn’t close until I flipped the lock/unlock button a few times and made sure it was locked before I closed the door. A few minutes of driving and it worked fine after that. It’s been about 25F in the mornings when it’s happened.
