Ok... So...

The original spark plugs were at between .032-.033 all six. Cylinder one was the oiliest and it progressively got less oily and more "used" looking as the cylinder numbers went up.

Photos here show Cylinder one bottom right and Cylinder 6 top left; the close up is Cyl 1, notice the oil.

New plugs are gapped and installed at .028. Lets see if I get a check engine light tomorrow at WOT. Driving around feels great, no tremble thus far at idle, but its not super warm yet.

Do you have the updated valve covers? If not it’s potential sucking oil vapor into the intake and getting pre-ignition.

Hello COBB,

Thanks for chiming in and just so we are clear. I'm NOT blaming COBB for their tune nor am I blaming CVF or SPD for their products.

I will do plugs tonight and its funny that you noted the oil, I looked at the oil % for life and its at 54%. I'm going to assume that its 54% used until I'm ready for another oil change vs 54% actual oil left in the engine lol.

These truck lose oil when you run them hard! And I don't even really run mine hard lol. Check it regularly. Mine was doing the same thing and mine is stock. The manual is completely wrong on oil change intervals I take mine in every 3to5k since apparently the oil evaporates so quickly.

If this doesnt fix me right up, I'll take the tune off, unplug the truck for 24hours and drain the system so its clean when I take it to FORD for a diagnostic review.

It Was , i change plugs every 10,000 miles on my boost . I lose about 6-7 thousands gap by then . Cheap insurance and fairly easy job.
