I am seriously considering doing RPG Stage 3 or Deaver plus SVC bump system but I am worried about possible interferences with my current exhaust...

I have the Kooks tru-duals and at a casual glance it looks like it might be too close in a few spots. can anyone tell me with certainty if it will work easily or if I am biting off more than i can chew?!

I am planning on this being a driveway install, either solo or with help from a teenage son (not sure which is more challenging) so if i get stuck it will be a six thousand pound doorstop!!!

here are some bad angle pics to try and show some trouble spots:

Am I sailing in uncharted waters here or is everyone in their truck, too busy to forum surf!

Fastcote,
The crossbar linking the two bumpstops on most of the kits ride on top to the frame parallel to the bed supports. While the exhaust is close to the frame inside it looks like there would be clearance. With the Icon bump stops there are additional tension rods to limit rotational stress to the frame. These tension rods probably WOULD interfere with the exhaust system you have....
Rotating the exhaust clamps should give you enough clearance.

Thanks Eddie.

Anyone want to comment on level of difficulty for a driveway install, most likely solo (no helpers). Bear in mind I'm a sailor not a mechanic. Sailors have one multipurpose tool: BFH (Big ******* HAMMER). Cut to suit, beat to fit, paint to match.

I watched the RPG video(s) a couple dozen times. not too many "gotchas" except maybe sawing the front bolt off next to the gas tank. That was conspicuously missing from the video.

I did it in my driveway by myself, really wasn't too bad (with the RPG kit).

Hey buddy, Just now seeing your thread, From the looks of the pictures it looks like our cross tube will clear with no issues! like ditch plains said, it sits above the frame rails. If you want shoot me an email and I will give you my cell to call and I will walk you through the install process and give you a few pointers for our kit! I look forward to hearing from you

Can anyone talk more about the differences in the systems pros and cons? Besides the fact that SVT offers the 3 different zones, i think the benefits are obvious there.

The RPG system has been around for a few years with many people on this forum running their parts. It has been improved from real world experience on their trucks and ours.

SVT is fairly new company and looking to make their stake in the raptor aftermarket world. I don't know if there is a lot operating experience to pull from to answer your question. Even though the company is new, they are quite familiar with Raptors.

However, hasn't svc somewhat built upon rpg system and an even more improved system? Or did they just add adjustability ?
