I'm going politely disagree because I am able to create and connect to the trucks wifi net work. So the hardware exists, the software to allow it to use the data on my phone connected via Bluetooth for the wifi network is where the issue arises.

Yeah, not a problem like I mention the articles that I posted are two to three years old.

And I did not try to tether my phone to my daughters car, I only connected to my home wifi.

So this is all good news to Raptor owners with MFT. That is if Ford will start rolling out software to actually use this new feature.

And one thing I do have to ask,

How are you guys confirming that you are using the Raptors wifi hardware?
I can only assume (LOL) that it's a wireless adapter with BT like what's in a laptop.

Are you assigning the Raptor's wifi streaming with a different SSID??? Not that I don't believe you guys.
It's just, I'm not wasting my time to try this on my daughters car. she only has a 2 gb data plan.
And I DO NOT drive her car, way too freaking small for me.

We can do everything the MFT does on your 2010 with the Nav and Sync.

With one exception, the wifi!

As far as I see on my daughters 2013 Escape's M.F.T.

It's just eye candy.

See, now here is something completely practical and reasonable that I may have never known about without this forum. I have not received any letters from Ford and until yesterday I didn't use the Sync My Ride. thanks FRF!

Tried to do this download yesterday on my iMac. It wouldn't work with Safari, Chrome, or Firefox. I'm going to try it again on my Macbook Pro today. And if it won't work then, our good buddy DESAraptor and I will meet up and do this update. Wish me luck.

It's java based so your browser may not matter. Make sure you have the latest version of java
and your security settings aren't preventing it. If you're using a Mac you might want to try the oracle version of Java vs the default mac java.

OS X can be a Java compatibility nightmare.
