Side note: want to be the next billionaire? Just create an app like Carfax for women. Maintenance records, recalls, current mileage, a statement indicating if they were hard miles or not. Has it had any upgrades? Does it boil over often? Any squeaks or groans on startup? Average monthly costs? Until cloning is perfected this would be priceless.

My Gen 2 was junk. Broken every few months - blown motor 3 weeks in, broken sunroof, rear diff blown twice, radio issues and more all before 15k miles, no offroading. My first Gen 1 I beat the **** out of with zero issues. I sold the Gen 2 after 2 years, went back to a clean OEM Gen 1 and have had no regrets.
You bought a used Gen 2 and claimed you traded in your Gen 1 that “had issues”. Doesn’t match your story.

Rear axle is the same between both generations. When you buy used you assume the risk of how it was treated before you bought it. I bought my ‘19 new and haven’t had a single issue besides a loose stabilizer bar link.

Raptors do get noticed and there is a stigma with them, no doubt. However, I think Ford has cheapen the name a lot with the introduction of the Bronco, Ranger and now Maverick Raptor. A Platinum F150 has more features in them than a Raptor.
You forgot Fiesta Raptor …

Gen 2 had less than 7k miles when purchased. My first Gen 1 didn't have any issues besides rear carrier bearing/diff whine towards the end, it was my fault from working on it a couple weeks prior and not manufacturer. Otherwise, correct, zero issues from what I recall. I was in the process of buying a Gen 2 anyway, didn't want to be down a vehicle, so I traded it and took a slight hit on trade in for the rear diff on Gen 1.

Now my existing Gen 1, which is my second Gen 1 and 3rd Raptor, no issues at all. I'm not sure why you're becoming a bit hostile in your replies based on other comments. It's pure personal preference. I prefer to daily drive something that doesn't require a million electrical components, sensors, computers, etc. I feel it's pretty basic logic to assume more features and safety in newer vehicles allows for more variables to go wrong, equating to more downtime.

There are no aspects. But please continue to entertain with your nonsense since you’re obviously a professional clown.
There are numerous but why are your feelings soo hurt? If its such a clear cut scenario why are you in your feelings calling people clowns? :sad72: cry more sweetheart

Like I said. You’re a clown. Your entire existence is to talk trash and “irk” people, find something better to do with your life.

You’ve been talking trash on G2 for years, you’re pathetic. It’s amazing how you latch on to threads like these to try and validate your insecurities. You have the maturity of a 12 year old Neanderthal.

Gen 2‘s come down some, but they are still not cheap. The lower mileage Gen 2’s are still very close to sticker prices in a lot of instances, but not all. There are some good Gen 1’s around here too. I like the Gen 2 Raptors a lot more than the Gen 1’s due to the way they look, the lighter body, and the feature offered in them. I did see a guy trading a Gen 1 in on a TRX on Saturday. With the TRX out there I think there are the guys that want the V8 but still don’t want to pay too much of a premium for the Raptor R. TRX seems to not be bringing the ADM as it was when they first hit the market. And that’s a good thing. I don’t like the interior of the TRX so I’m not looking to get one. I think the prices for a lot of these trucks will level off more as time goes on.
