Yeh mines only at low speeds and I've already brought it in and gota ******** story. May try one more dealer. Kinda rediculous but whatever thats the only thing i feel wrong with the truck other than that its a monster. Maybe a shock upgrade is in store if they wont replace.

My rattle was partly due to the right front control arm and RF shock which Ford replaced, I still have noise from the rear and I would say the shocks need to be replaced their also but Ford says it is normal. I feel if enough of us complain then Ford will recall the shocks that are making the noise even if its not a safety issue. I cant believe how much noise I have from this.
Plus why would you replace only one shock,if you do a brake job do you only do one side?

My Raptor is a 2010 with the 6.2, I don't think anyone with the 5.4 are experiencing all the noise and clunks as the 6.2, Anyone with the 5.4 having issues?

22240 svt raptor - shock absorber noise over bumps
2010-2012 f-150 svt raptor vehicles are equipped with unique high-performance fox shock absorbers designed for severe off-road use. Some customers may be concerned with boom, chirp or clunk noises from the front or rear shock absorbers most often heard over small, sharp bumps in the road such as frost heaves, potholes, or expansion joints. This is a normal characteristic originating from the hydraulic motion of the fluid and inherent to the unique design of the shock absorbers. It is not caused by contact of any suspension components, nor will this condition have any detrimental effect on the life of the shock absorbers or suspension. Do not attempt service to correct this normal condition.

My 2011 is at dealer now.
They put the chassis ears on it to find where the noise was coming from.
So far they found the upper shock plate loose.
Told me they had to order some more parts.
My dealer and a ford service rep are on it.
Ford is very interested in my trucks solution.
They have had enough reports that ford is looking into the noises.
I will update after I get my truck back.

Update,
Changed upper shock/strut plate on right front,a little better,so they are going to change driver side as well.
Tightned all chassis fastners, found driver side lower shock bolt at only 205 ftbs.
Passenger side was fine.
Truck has been in shop for almost 2 weeks.
Ford is fighting them on all of this.
Drove the truck still has the same noises as before.:-(

My Brother has a 2010 5.4 Scab and his has the noise as well as my 2012, every Raptor I have test driven has done it as well making me think it is normal. While I don't like it making a noise if it is normal I can live with it.

I am not sure if all these trucks are hearing the same noises.
It is not normal. The service manager drove the truck multiple times,he even said he would never want to drive my truck every day if they had that noise in all of them.
Getting a little frustrated now!

A little update.
Took my truck in for sate inspection, had them align my truck, told the tech, who by the way is really good, about my noises.
He looked at it.
Got my truck back drove it home,it was better than it was new off lot for noise, still has a noise but not near like it was.
Here is what he found,
Upper sway bar mounts that attach to chassis where loose,he could see where they where moving some, had to tighten a special way because bolt spins in mount.
Did a once over on all fasteners, found rear shackles loose few others also.
Did fine some play in bottom hein joint on shocks,up and down, just enough off movement that could be the final issue.
I am really happy he found some off the issues. Is alot better.
Only took him 3 hours to do all the work.
Cost me 180.00 for inspection and alignment, plus the extra time too look for the noises.
Money well spent in my book.

There were quite of few nuts and bolts loose (not torqued) on my 2012. Thankfully, when RPG did all my modifications they went through all of the suspension.
