Wanted to share some thoughts after a few days now. I haven't watched any of the reviews (yet) as I was hoping to go in fresh.

-Ride is killer, way more refined than my Gen 2. I'm sure the rear suspension has a lot to do with it. It feels softer, but maybe I'm noticing less drama. Mid corner bumps no longer cause the unsettling feeling. Really is amazing.

-I hate the gear selector, feels cheap. Still working to get reverse on the first try..

-800a seat material is fine, but the cushion is too soft. I'm not used to the couch feeling.

-Between the transmission calibration and engine changes, it feels quicker in town. Exhaust is OK in baja (unless on the freeway) but still no V8.

I can't wait to get it off road. Between the interior and ride/suspension I'm not sure why anyone would buy a Gen 2 at their current prices. I know a lot of people are still waiting - it is definitely worth it.

Thanks for the initial impressions. Pics? Details on specs?
Pretty barebones 800a, I just got the tow package for the 360 camera. Had an 800a in the past so just went that route for price and aspiration I’ll trade up in a year or two. No comparison to the Gen 2 800a in terms of features though.

Thanks for the reply. The ride difference is the only reason I'd move to a gen 3. I'm glad to hear it's working well for you and I hope to hear more of the same.

Awesome! Thanks for the initial impressions. Glad to hear about the ride quality. Was one of my biggest questions coming from an SUV with air suspension.

I feel happy every time I see or touch the CF shifter in my 2019, now we get a POS? I call BS on the fold down table thing dictating the new shifter. One step forward, two back it seems...

Thanks again for posting! Beautiful.....
