Welcome XSNSX...... You'll find that sound here we treat our members with respect, that is, when we're not totally harassing each other.

The thing that other forums don't seem to grasp is that this whole thing is all about YOU guys. As staffers here, we all know that the moment we try to act like we're "above somebody" that we're actually ruining this place, not growing it. This forum came into existence simply because we thought we could create a place that was more FUN than the others. I happen to think we're on the right track, but much more importantly, so do many of the guys who post here regularly.

Whether you're a cast-off from another site, or someone who just happened across this place and thinks it suits your style better.... We welcome you with open arms.

Last week, I responded to one of these emails and asked him to remove my name from his mailing list, going on to say "I don't care, nor do I need to know, if you have a new advertiser." This weekend, I attempted to log on found he had banned me, leaving the reason as "Bad Attitude". Funny, I never even got chance to make a single post on his forum.

Sounds very familiar to a lot of us. Anyone who questions him or posts any criticism of a vendor gets banned and usually their IP blocked.

This whole episode has been a wake-up call for me. I need to come clean... I'm also a forum admin, but my forum isn't automotive related. I too, have banned numerous people. The majority of those bans were not from improper conduct - fortunately we don't have a problem there - but from self-serving people trying to promote themselves. I'm sure a few would like to take my head off too. I will certainly be more patient with people in the future. It's small digital world.

Now, on to more important things... should I wait for the rumored "R" version in 2012?
