I am probably not in the majority here as I do not own a Raptor. I will be 50 years old this year and have been saving for this for 10 years. My dealer said I will get his first allocation. I am excited about the 2021. I am a current 2019 F150 Lariat (502a Crew 4x4, 2.7 EB). Coming from the 2.7, I could care less about an 8 cylinder. I think it looks and sounds bad ass.

For me the Gen1 V8 was about owning a piece of history. I don’t really see the Gen3 being such an iconoclast. Maybe the Raptor R...

It’s all in where you live and what you do with it.

I have a Gen1 that gets ≈11mpg city and only fill up every two weeks. I rarely run it below a quarter tank at that.

I drive it daily but live in a city of 100K that is fairly small. V8 is worth it for me.

lol i live in the boonies. i don't want to get stranded.

On that note, Raptors are amazing in the snow.

I’d imagine Ford Performance folks are bashing their head against a wall today wondering wtf is wrong with you all. They gave you a 5 link suspension and no one is even ******* talking about it. I’m learning 8/10 Raptor enthusiasts should not be Raptor enthusiasts at all..... ya’ll just don’t get it.
ford is giving us everything people are asking for, better interior, 37's, multi-link, v8 in the works, and people are still complaining.

$100k plus and 10mpg? Let's see if all the big talkers actually put their money where their mouths are. I predict that the V6 will be huge, the V8 will be a novelty.
100%. most people talk a big game about how they are gonna get the big V8 but in the end just cant swing it. and a lot of people buy raptors and leverage themselves to over $1000 in monthly payments. if gas spikes again its gonna cost a fortune to feed a 700 hp truck.

I believe he got a week to reflect presuming he’s capable of it.

back to topic personally I’m mildly amazed Ford hasn’t put a coil rear on a F150 in recent memory. Hell my dad had a 72 chevy 1500 with coil rears. Great riding truck...kept the sloshing noise of the fuel down.;)
