Over the past week I installed HornBlaster.Com 240 kit. Comes with almost everything needed for truck. I put the 2 gallon tank and compressor on the passenger side frame rail. Ran tubing and wiring inside engine bay, loomed it all. I put the compressor on the UpFitter aux 3 and the horns (with relay) on aux 4.
As for the horns and solenoid, I wanted to follow suit to someone else on the forum that had them mounted on skid plate and facing forward. After playing with it, best option IMO was to put the horns sideways and I used 1"x1/8" aluminum to make the bracket. I also used the left over aluminum to tie all the horn ends together. It's rock solid and way I mounted mine it kept them away from the oil filter opening so it'll be out of the way when changing the oil. I also did all plug and play so I can drop my skid plate later on when I powdercoat it.
Pictures to follow, I'll update tomorrow to show that I put a couple elbows to show that I mounted the pressure switch 90 degrees and higher than frame rails. I also put another 90 degree elbow on the tank so I can install a future (already ordered) a quick disconnect so I can connect a hose to air up the tires or anything else.
All wiring was either heat shrinked and/or wire loomed. All in all, install took better part of 12hrs, literally... I don't rush my projects and I do it all clean so no one will notice it's not stock. Time consuming for sure, but it's all worth it in the end IMO, though I'm the only one that'll ever see it!
