I have the same problem... the smaller design fuses for upfitters 3 and 4 are readily available. But the only ones I've found for the larger design fuse for upfitter 1 and 2 (fuses 18 and 19) are rated higher than recommended by Rigid... not that I'm going to lose any sleep over it but I would like to find some 10 amp fuses if i can. Maybe I'll try NAPA tomorrow.

What about using an in-line fuse near the light fixture. Then write yourself a note about where the in-line is hidden, and put the note inside the fuse box.

Flounder, that appears like it might be the best solution to getting a fuse a low enough amp rating. It seems the lowest rating for the stock "cartridge" fuse used on Upfitter 1 and 2 is 20 amp. (Rigid recommends 10 amp).

For what its worth, my brief research into this shows that these are "Low-Profile FMX Female Maxi Fuses", made by Cooper Bussmann. And, unfortunately, the lowest they go is 20A.

So what about this, with a couple of female spade connectors on either end? http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3150583#

Or make your own:
1) Get yourself a Self Tapping In-Line Fuse Holder: http://www.oznium.com/self-tap-in-fuse-holder

2) Get yourself a 10A blade-type fuse: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103773

3) A couple of female spade connectors: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103499

4) A loop of 16 or 18 ga wire.

Put it all together and you've got this (in principal)

Those female spades will slip over the male spades in the fuse box, where the stock FMX fuse used to go. Eyeballing it looks to me like there's plenty of room to do this right without looking hacked.

Why not put the lights on the lower rated upfitter switch and not mess with the 30A switch 1 & 2? That is what I am doing with my Dually kit. Putting it on switch 4 (Rigid says each pair of dually should be on a 5Amp line, so switch 4 is perfect)

Also shouldn't this be moved to another topic as we are getting off course here. (started with black truck detail and now into fuses, etc)?
