It would help if the sign behind the truck wasn't part of the PIC. Jus sayin...
Does your Raptor have a sun/moon roof? If so can it be opened with the rack being mounted?

the slide back portion isnt a problem. and since it can be adjusted for height, the non moonroof owners can have it lower, while it will be raised an inch or two for those of us who have the moonroof to accommodate the vent feature of it

that is why they are test fitting. they want to find the best mounting locations for it. they are measuring and inspecting to make sure the mounts will be solid
