Heavy *ss tires to lift up to align the studs. At 65 it's not wise to be lifting heavy chit, if you read the first post thru for me it's to save a hernia not to mention back issues. But I do commend you for knowing tires roll.

I'm 42 and in good shape and its still a struggle to get the tires on. If i wasn't so cheap I'd get one of those dolly's as well

I use a Stanley 12in. Wonder Bar, Pry Bar...$11.97 at Homedepot.
Works for me for the past 13 years. Any crow bar will do.
Just watch a video on changing big rig tires, it's really easy.

I'm 62 with a bad back, I don't pick the tire up, I use the pry bar.
You only need to lift the tire off the ground about an inch using your jack.

Just got a quote for spark plug change at the local Ford dealer. Only 1400$.....Mom and pop store where we take our other stuff said 500$

Food for thought.

Mine were part of a much bigger maintenance project, (and much easier because everything else was already off), but the biggest time-saver IMHO is removing the plastic fender liners. If there's anything else you want to replace, this is the time.

The complete list of replacement parts: new bfg tires, Method wheels, stainless brake lines, brake rotors & pads, diff cover, OEM 2.5 Foxes, new bushings & balljoints on the LCA's, new RPG UCA's and billet tie rods, new Geiser coil springs, mishimoto radiator, radiator hoses, & trans cooler, new oem AC compressor, condenser, & lines, water pump & thermostat, new power steering pump & lines, steering sector shaft, power steering rack bolts, injectors, spark plug wires,, ignition coils, new Banks Igauge, fuse 27 upgrade, & led cube lights. I got rebuilt brake calipers and rebuilt the original power steering rack and 6r80 transmission.

Oh, and spent another $1000 on having the steering knuckle properly reinforced with a tig welded gusset, then bored out the tapered tie rod hole to run bigger 12point hardware.
