Reading a different thread about the 27 fuse got me curious. No issue with mine, thankfully, but while the hood was up, I noticed what looked like loose/disconnected liners extending from the headlights to the radiator and down to the wheel well. Any advice on fixing/replacing or the necessity?

They are air deflectors, to channel air into the radiator, and notoriously deteriorate rapidly. I used the old torn up ones as a pattern and built some out of 40mil HDPE, not real sure how effective they are but anything to help cooling is a good thing. I wouldn't buy OEM ones, they will fall apart in literally a couple years.

Thanks for the quick response! I'll look into a replacement, now that I know what they are.

I had the same issue with my air ducting; I too used conveyor belt material. It was from a decommissioned luggage loader. Enough reinforcement from the fibers within to not have it flap around when you drive.
