i dont think she was here when it happened. regardless, its been stated numerous times but i got turned down

That really sucks that they left you hanging. Not to change the subject but do you still want those basically bran new rotors and brake pads. If you do PM me your address and I can get them packed up and shipped.

Sorry with my noob question, but does the window pop when it's very cold outside (freezing?) and the rear defroster comes on when you use the your remote start?
Or is it some electrical gremlins that are causing this breakage? thanks

For the guys having issues with their sliders and sunroofs, be sure to keep the tracks lubricated. I use this about once or twice a year to keep everything moving and it doesn't attract dirt/dust.

PTFE Dry Lubricant & Corrosion Control - WD-40 Specialist

So, I was in Lowes last night, they didn't have the Dry Lube, but I did find a rebate sticker on a can of degreaser. Did some digging, and sure enough, you try it free. SWEET!!! Here is the link to the rebate form: http://wd40specialist.com/pdf/WD-40-Specialist-Rebate.pdf

Apparently it is when its cold outside and the remote start kicks on the defroster, as this just happened to me 30 minutes ago... @FordService, help? What do you need? I called the dealership and they told me it wouldn't be covered by my ESP because it falls into the damage category, even though I told her nothing hit it it just popped...

Yea ESP plans are likely not going to cover it. I was just under my 36K mile warranty and got them to cover it after the Dealer told me multiple times they never heard of the issue and were sure it would not be covered. I told them to just call ford and sure enough when they finally did they were given the OK

So I too recently had my back window shatter on a cool morning. Thankfully I called my local dealer and was told to bring it in. They acknowledged it was a known issue and within a few hours they had it replaced.

So that's my 2nd rear window. I'm at dealer today for my 5th license plate light housing. Clips break off every 6 months or so. I have only 14000 miles on truck but am 2 months out of warranty. They said thats not covered. Seriously? A 50 cent part and that's the answer?! I mentioned I would get on the forum and reach out to our service rep. They are fixing it free as I type.

Sometimes I think they just like to test us. Not a good philosophy.
