For those of you that have this issue during the evaluation of problems my engineer suggested this as a fix for the existing problem. Was not aware of this but I am now... This is a solution for moisture ingression...

Back in 1978 I was working for a guy that installed submersible well pumps...this tape was incredible! If you wrap it tight it is hard to see where the tape starts and stops.

The phone company uses that when they splice stuff together underground.
