Have been having this issue also. I rotated my tires and the error followed the sensor. I assume my issue is a bad sensor. Just havent swapped it out yet. I dont drive the truck more than 30 minutes that often so i hardly ever get the fault. From what i have read, The tpms polls the sensors every 20 minutes or so. So unless i drive more than 30 mins straight, I dont get the error. If i hd to guess the battery is getting low in the sensor and putting the sensor into deep sleep mode.

It sounds like interference; replacing sensors won’t fix that. Do you have anything plugged into any power ports or the power inverter? Even something as simple as a cell phone charger can generate enough RFI to interfere with the TPMS signal transmission. The DC/AC inverter itself can also be a source of RFI, you may want to try unplugging the inverter under the rear seat to see if it makes any difference.
Interesting, when I go off-road and air down. My TPMS will go in and out. I do connect my 50 Watt Kenwood radio to the cigarette lighter in the center console. Think maybe that's what causing the issue while aired down?

Turn off the power generator in the menu as soon as the warning shows on the dash. It will go off after 20ish seconds. Seems like an issue from ford.

Mine just started doing it, all stock, 800 miles on it. Wondering this has continued to work for you? It doesn't look like dealers have had much luck and I don't want to deal with 6 trips for warranty work and no resolution. Have the stupid seat wrinkle showing up too.. Thanks

From another post that you can search for if its helpful

or those of you getting the TPMS Fault message on the display, there was a TSB that recently dropped for it, TSB 23-2218 (download here from NHTSA). Now I would rather pick up an addict from Kensington Ave and let them take my truck for a week than my dealer, so I figured I'd do it myself. All you need is a ferrite bead (Amazon) and about 20 minutes of your time.

All you have to do is pull the headliner in the passenger side back corner and clip the bead onto the wire harness going into the radio transceiver module. It fits on there pretty snugly so I didn't bother wrapping it up in harness tape as the TSB directs, and unless I hear the thing rattling around, I'm not going to bother.

So far the warning hasn't come back, but only time will tell if this is a good fix.
