There is a definite procedure. Chris@freedommotorsports helped me with it. Bottom line is that you must check the final fluid level with the engine/trans at operating temperature, and you WILL burn your hand doing so due to the very close proximity between the exhaust and the dipstick.

The leak is not a slow leak. One day everything is fine, the next there is a puddle on the ground. More than likely you wont notice an issue until you park on a hill.

You dont park on a hill so who cares? Well if fluid can get out, dust and dirt can get in. Hill or no hill, if you are changing the fluid in a 2010 it is a good idea to upgrade the bulk head connector if you havent already done so.

You wont leak out all your fluid, but it will be a notiable amount.
