fwiw.... In years past, i've sported normal attire with thermals underneath. You're in the truck the majority of the time and in comfortable temps. I have jacket reachable in back seat for stops, which there are plenty of. When there is a recovery or longer stop ill toss on more gear, gloves, hat etc... While not encouraged by me, some dudes of brawn n steel sport summer attire...cough hockster cough, though he is amphibious, thus cold blooded

disclaimer this is my preference, not the staff, if you get lost/stranded and loose a limb to frostbite, blame Obama
