Has anyone managed to set up the sunshade on the sunroof to auto open and auto close when you start and stop the truck?

I like it open when running around, but closed for heat etc when parked.

Ideally, ignition on trigger full open, when ignition off full close.

I would imagine that sort of thing would require some rewiring. It definitely would be a nice mod though.

Subscribing as well.

What drives me crazy is that the Explorer is a 1x button press to close both the glass and shade vs our truck u have to close each one by itself and the shade 2x button press. I know first world problems.

Would be cool to see what mods are created for this.

Just tint the sunroof and you don’t have to worry about the shade. I tinted my sunroof with 15% and can leave my metal sunglasses on my center console and they are barely warm in 100 degree heat. I never shut the shade.

I had my sunroof tinted with 80% full ceramic and it really cut down the heat when parked outside in Texas. I leave my shade open over the driver all the time now.
