Makes one dream a little. When I sold my bmw back to bmw under lemon law I got just about every nickel I put into it, including aftermarket accessories. And it was a little over 4 years old.

Dreaming an older 2010, 6.2. Give up factory camera, torsen and A/C seats and build a beast.

Its a long shot but down underneath the steering wheel there a little black piece of plastic thats a plug is attached too on my truck. It came loose and my truck acted the same way your describing . If you pull it out truck wont run but when it was loose truck would start then not start I would drive to the gas station turn it off then truck wouldnt fire . Or move the truck out of the drive way then it would die so similar to what your describing . Good luck

Thanks, it looks like the dealer left in a security piece that is attached to the ODBC II port. That is where the Dealer plugs in their diagnostic tool. It is a universal port across all makes and models. It is also where we install our custom tunes thru the SCT device. Mine is solidly mounted with no security tab.

Thanks. Dealer tech that worked on it before won't even be in until Tuesday, I mentioned to them that they should absolutely wait for him since he did such a good job the first go around! Service advisor cracked up.

Agreed. I ran a business that sold and serviced office automation equipment like Folder Inserters, high speed mailing machines etc. Yes, intermittent problems can drive you nuts. The Dealer-rip will just take it for a spin and then hot key in the response code "Unable to duplicate" Done and Done. That is what they did the first time and then discovered the problem when the truck wouldn't start when working on a separate problem.
