So this is what they sent me:

--------------------------------------------
Hello,

Thank you for contacting us about the difficulty you are experiencing with one of our products. We apologize for these troubles and look forward to providing you with the needed replacement parts so you can enjoy your DDM Tuning products as soon as possible.

***HOW TO REPLY TO THIS EMAIL***
To reply to this email, you MUST log in to our Support Center, which may require using a temporary password that will be sent as an "auto-reply". Replying from your "regular" email will not be successful. The link to the Support Center is: https://www.ddmtuning.com/support/ .

***TROUBLE-SHOOTING***
If you haven't already done so, before returning any parts, please trouble-shoot the problem to identify the part that is responsible for the problem. This usually involves swapping the bulbs or ballasts from side to side to determine if the problem tracks with the bulb or the ballast. To avoid unnecessary expense (see below), it is crucial that this trouble-shooting be conducted.

***WARRANTY POLICY: TESTING and SHIPPING RESPONSIBILITY***
We test the returned parts. Parts that are Defective will be replaced under warranty and DDM Tuning will pay to ship the replacement parts to the customer.

Parts that prove to be functional will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense (this includes shipping and handling costs). And, $8 will be charged to cover the cost of the Return Shipping Label that was provided to have the part(s) shipped from you to DDM Tuning. A summary of the possible Testing & Return Shipping Costs are noted below.

For additional information regarding our Warranty and Return Policy, please visit our website: http://www.ddmtuning.com/index.php?p=page&page_id=return_policy .

Thank you very much for your cooperation.

***SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING BULBS, BALLASTS, HARNESSES and LIGHT ASSEMBLIES***
If you are returning a faulty bulb, please be sure to return BOTH BULBS--the working bulb and the faulty bulb.

For High/Low Bulbs, please keep the High/Low harness if the harness is functional. If the High/Low harness is defective, please return the harness.

For High/Low bulbs, if the bulbs are functional and the High/Low harness is defective, please return only the High/Low harness.

If you are returning a faulty ballast, please return ONLY the defective ballast.

Unless otherwise specifically authorized by DDM Tuning, please do NOT return the following items: functional ballasts, functional bulbs, the adaptor wires that connect the stock wiring to the ballast, and HID accessory wiring harnesses. If you are unsure as to what to return, we will be happy to advise you further.

For wiring harnesses, before shipping for a warranty claim, please confirm that the control box (for a H/L harness) and relay (for an accessory HID harness) is not corroded. Corrosion is not covered under the warranty.

If you are returning tail lights or headlights, please be sure to return the entire set unless we have approved other arrangements. For instance, for tail lights, please return both the passenger and driver side lights and, if they were part of the set, the trunk lights.

Its totally Cheese-**** if you ask me. I sent them the same pictures I posted on this thread. I have to take apart my truck and go back to stock. Then I have to mail these bulbs back, wait for them to be tested, wait for the new ones to be shipped from CHINA (takes 2 weeks) and then take my truck apart again to install. All for cheap-ass Chinese bulbs that costs DDM maybe... 5 dollars. F**k DDM if they can't take my word + pictures for $5 so I don't have to take apart my truck twice. I'd be glad to return the purple bulbs after the fact. This is the 4th set of HID's I've ordered from them too so its not like I'm a 1st-time customer. I've spent Hundreds of dollars with them.

DDM used to be good, but they've gone to shit in the past year. I have an HID kit that I got off of a vendor from another forum. He has a small time operation but his customer service is great. PM me if you'd like his info.

Also, if the lights are purple, then your HID temp is 12000K. 10000K would be royal blue, 12000K is purple, 8000K is light blue, 6000K is white with just a touch of blue, 5000K is pure white, 4300K is yellowy-white (stock HIDs on most cars), and 3000K is yellow.
