I found the smoking gun. There's a 20 amp relay/fuse (73) that provides power to the 2 stop lamp/turn signal relays. Its clearly blown. Now I just have to find a dealer that has one in stock. Wish me luck!

Thanks, I'll have to check this fuse. I might have the same problem. The truck brake and turn signals work perfectly. But once I hook up my new trailer with 7 pin, the trailer brake and turn signals don't work. I don't know if it's my truck or the trailer.

the fuse sometimes isn't installed at the dealer. Mine was in the glove box....

the fuse is in the fuse box under the hood right up front on top of the radiator.

Mine was triggered by the fouled up wiring on the trailer so it could be both. Replacing the #73 fuse cured the problem. You need to check and see if you have power at the 7 pin plug on the truck.

Bingo. I found my fuses today stuffed in the storage bin under the back seat. I just use teh four pin connector for my boat and skis, but glad to know where it is now. Looks like they supplied a couple extra fuses as well in a ziplock'type bag.
