Anybody know the lightest true 35/12.5/17 tire? I ordered the a titan7 wheels they’re about 20.4lbs each so also looking for a light MT to match. The KO2 seems to be the lightest albeit it’s a 315/70

Some nice weight savings compared to the 37# beadlock

edit: Spent a little time doing the research. Here’s what I got for the most popular tires for these trucks. Most info taken from tiresizes.com. Apologies if any info is incorrect it’s either a typo or tire sizes has stated it incorrectly

Tire sizes: 315/70/17 and 35/12.5/17
  • Yoko geolander MT GOO3 in 35/12.5/17 Load E: 70.8 lbs
  • Cooper disc STT 315/70/17 only, Load E: 66 lbs
  • Nitto Ridge grappler 35/12.5/17 Load E? 73.5 lbs
  • Mickey Baja MTZ P3, 35/12.5/17 Load D: 65 lbs
  • BFG KO2: 35/12.5/17 is 66.5 lbs, 315/70/17 is 62.4 lbs
  • BFG Km3: 315/70/17 is 65.8 lbs, 35/12.5/17 is 74.4
  • Toyo MT Load E 35/12.5/17: 78 lbs
  • Goodyear Duratrac: Load D 315/70 60lbs, load E 35/12.5/17: 68 lbs
So the KO2, MT Baja, and STT seem to be the lightest. The better looking tires imo are the heaviest (Toyo MT and KM3)

I think right now atleast I’m leaning towards the Ridge Grapplers. They have a 37-12.5r17 that is load range D. So unless something comes

thanks for all the info! I’m in the same boat I love the look of the Toyo MT and the KM3’s but as of right now leaning towards the Ridge Grappler 37-12.5r17 load range D.

^ Man that looks sweet! Pumped to get mine. Not a huge fan of how the sidewall looks on that tire but all in all looks great

What color did you go with? You will love the wheel. It is beautiful in person. Very Deep lip and the machining of the inner spokes is a piece of art.
