Leftover MY22 vs new MY23 Order

Well, I have a first day MY23 order through a local dealer that claims to have two allocated trucks. I think that they ordered many more than that. Azure gray metallic for this one. Non R.

I got a call that another local dealer has a MY22 order that wasn’t in production yet that was backed out on. I took over that order, and was updated that it was moved to MY23. I changed it from iconic silver to avalanche. Non R.

The first (23) order is a priority 11 and the 22 leftover order is priority 10. I didn’t really get the price code difference as they are virtually the same price but the 23 order is 315 and the 22 order is 320.

Anyway, I’m interested to see which one gets a production date first. The first order is a large dealer. Second order guaranteed me that they had a 22 allocation. Both are MSRP. I have an 18 now so I’m excited to upgrade.

The 23 order claimed to have me in for an allocation but I brought my Lightning by for them to look since they didn’t have a demo, and another salesman said they ordered “like 20” but only a few non-R.

The 22 order that was backed out and changed to a 23 when I asked for Avalanche claimed to have an allocation for the truck in 22….customer got tired of waiting and bought a TRX. Small town dealer and the salesman told me I was the only holder for that reservation.
