If you need more reasons to feel good about it, there are less holes in the aluminum with tailgate appliqué deleted. More robust!

12-31-21 order, dealership said to delete appliqué if I wanted it this year. Week later had build date that was August, now a blend date of tomorrow. It bothered me at first, but it is easier to clean and keep clean without a large rectangle of black plastic. I am going to get a blacked out emblem to get rid of the blue and chrome. Should be okay in the end.

What does “blend date mean”

Just saw I missed the email Ford sent on 6/21 that my build date was set for 7/18 now. On 6/16 is the original email they gave me a date of 8/1

The new Blue/Black Recaros should make up for the unwanted appliqué delete. That’s how I’m justifying right now

Mine was built a couple of weeks before yours. It's still in transit, so I haven't actually seen it yet, but the sticker shows no deletion. Not sure, but I thought the dealer/customer had to be notified and ok the deletion.

Mine is currently sitting in a railroad yard in a suburb of Chicago...been there a few days now. Therefore, I will be carefully checking for bullet holes...lol (I hope!)

The bullet holes are ok, check for paint defects. Doors on leading edge. My 21 had zero issues, my 2022 37 has a few blobs of clear on door and bottom of the fender. Getting it taken care of now. Warranty and a ford bodyshop.

Appliqué or not, at the end of the day I’m just happy it’s finally in production. I was a lil too optimistic with it and already bout 37s 17s and a Bak Flip mx4 cover lol
