I need help

I'm trying to connect me iPad to the car by using sync it worked
But can I see videos ? From my iPad to the car ?



I tried but I Could not make it :doh:

I don't think Ford/Sync has support for the iPad. You may need to go to your dealer and have them update your Sync software.

I think Tank is right. I don't believe Sync has video support. Definitely check with your dealer though.

You wont get video out. You can get sounds through Bluetooth Audio. I notice when I hooked up my ipad to Sync, it had a bit of latency (Angry Birds in surround sound lol)
It would be treated as an Ipod when hooked up via USB.

But I want to see a movie in my screen

dont think you can use ipad to view on sync yet... unless you get a hack code.

Apple gives Microsoft limited information and licensing so we can use iPods and iPhones with the Sync.

The Sync system will not play videos from any device aside from a DVD when in the vehicle is in park, unless something has changed since I last tried it. I have also tried from a HDD and a thumbdrive to no avail.
