Still not impressed
Shifted like shit
That is all folks
I test drove one a couple of weeks ago and left feeling a little underwhelmed considering all of the hype I've read on here. Driving in normal mode was meh and the shifting in sport mode was very harsh. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice truck, but not worth the price difference to upgrade for me right now.
This is exactly how I felt everyone in this forum is like omg it's so fast wowww then when I floor it in normal mode it feels hardly noticeable in speed from my gen 1, plus my gen 1 has a more violent torque sensation, gen 2 just shifts a lot and holds a steady acceleration, seems like the only thing giving it the extra speed is the tranny, however I'll take a 6 speed over that rough riding 10 I also still prefer the wide mean and bull dog look over the gen 2s sleeker average f150 look
Were they new trucks or ones with some mileage? My trans was very harsh at first but smoothed out once I put some miles on it. In sport it shifts hard like I would expect a sport turned auto to shift.
He’s just rationalizing his hate of the newer model. Nothing to see here.
Drove a tuned Gen 2 briefly recently. It was fast. Shifted a lot too.
Still like my Gen 1 better. Smurf.
Didn't buy a raptor to go fast. I have an M3 for speed.
It's not speed (fast) that counts. It's acceleration quickness.
Yeah because nobody with a Gen 2 ever complained about the tranny.
As a community, we’ve made the decision to be inclusive and welcome you and other trannies.
Yes, the 10 speed is a busy transmission. Busier than the outgoing 6 speed. In other news, the sun is bright, water is wet.
