Eh, the cutting isn't noticeably, it's not that hard to do. Not too sure how you could do it without cutting the plastic cowl and having a nice mount. I do worse things to my truck off-road...lol

I actually have the outlaw mounts on my truck. I installed them at Havic last year in the pit area real simply to do.

The only real advice I have for everyone.when installing which ever mount you choose is to disconnect the hood assist cylinders. This will help keep your hood aligned.

China made stuff if it's JG lighting. Don't know if this matters.

Never did much research on product quality, so can't answer on that, prices do make it interesting, especially if they produce what there spec's state
