GPS maps outside of the US

Google maps don't work offline...

I have also been to al tayer in Dubai. They will sell the Card with the digital maps, but it is expensive and not very good. For anything in the desert you really need a GPS system with UTM/lat and long coordinates. So i bought the XGPs receiver, whcih is excellent, but I need maps to be able to navigate. Any ideas?

Anyone know if its possible to add overseas maps to the ford GPS?

All,

I am headed to Ghana in a few months and my raptor will be coming with me. Does anyone know if its possible to add maps to the onboard nav? or if Ford in any way covers west Africa.

I think we've concluded that they have not produced any overseas maps as it's not supposed to be available overseas.
