gas cap not locking

That's annoying. Any other capless car I own stays locked.
These are the cheap stuff I hate about the truck

So you have a fuel door ‘locked’ the way they all are by a small pin and I come by with a screwdriver or small pry bar, jam it in the fuel door gap and instantly pop the door open then struggle for 15 minutes to pull 10 gallons of gas out of your truck. Now you’ve lost $30 in fuel and have a $1000 repair to replace the door and paint the side of the truck. No thanks. I can’t remember the last time I saw a police report on a gas theft.
