Ford Raptor in the Bahamas

On Nassau near the Friendly Ford/Hyundai there's a Molten Orange Supercab with bed graphics. Didn't get to stop and take a pic since I was in a taxi but damn... Looks sweet!

Yeah I heard it was 50% but 100% is gonna bite you in the ass!!

Starts at 100 and goes down from there as it ages. Even lightly used cars get hosed.

Not quite 100%...still bad...but not that bad...mind you, after you include shipping costs and various other things it may be closer to 100% in some cases...


Up until a cople years ago, it used to be as follows...

Vehicles under $10,000...52%
Vehicles between $10,000-20,000...62%
Vehicles over $20,000...82%

This was regardless of whether the vehicle was new or used. New required the dealer bill of sale...used went on blue book values.

Just recently the rules changed...taxation now gets lumped into motor size. Under 1L is 45%, 1-2L is 55%, 2-3L is 65%, and 3+L is 85%...of vehicle cost.

Still stings...looking at getting a full size truck, of which the Raptor is a contender...but jumping from 45-50k to upwards of 90k hurts...lol
